Another bit of fun creating this “rock” covered with mineral materials acquired from a local excavator on Deer Isle. The granitic soils seem to be quite iron-rich. Grateful to Ricky Spofford of Spofford’s Excavation for literally digging this up. Stoneware fired to 2250F in oxidation. 11” diameter.
